ClockwiseTV is a tablet app for kids to watch and enjoy content that matches their interests and fits within their set time limit. When the session ends, so does the screen.

ClockwiseTV is for families and for kids to build a healthy relationship with technology. You won’t see ads, videos won’t autoplay, and there are absolutely no incentives to keep watching longer than intended.

ClockwiseTV is designed for kids between the ages of 8 and 12. When your kid starts a session, the app suggests high-quality, human-reviewed videos based on their interests, like Animals, Art & Making, Nature, Science, and Space.

Can my 7-year-old or 13-year-old use it too?

Absolutely! While our library is built for the 8–12 range, anyone is welcome to explore the app.

For kids outside that bracket, we’ll show them videos from the closest end of our age range. For example, a 7-year-old will see content curated for 8-year-olds, while a 13-year-old will see videos picked for 12-year-olds.

You and your kid choose how much time they have available. ClockwiseTV surfaces content that matches their interests and fits within the remaining time limit. Your kid chooses which videos they want to watch. Once the time’s up, the session ends! At that point, you can either close the app and take a screen break or jump into a new session for the same kid or a sibling. Parents just need to enter their PIN to set a fresh timer.

Every video, from creators like Hank Green, Crash Course Kids, Minute Physics, Odd Animal Specimens, and Evan and Katelyn, is reviewed by humans for quality, age-appropriateness, and educational value.

Your family’s privacy is of the utmost importance to us. The videos that are shared are based on the age and interest information entered in your kid’s profile. We are fully COPPA compliant and limit child profile information to what is reasonably necessary to provide our service, such as a child’s first name or nickname, age, viewing preferences, avatar or profile settings, and watch history or progress within the Services. Limited users get an exclusive price of $49.99 for the first year. It includes unlimited kid profiles and unlimited sessions, and can be used on multiple devices (with the same parent log in). The subscription price is subject to change for our public launch in November.

Unlike free video platforms that use aggressive algorithms to keep your kid glued to the screen for ad revenue, we don't sell ads and we don't track your data. Your membership directly funds built-in screen time tools, a guaranteed safe space, and real human review to make sure every video your kid sees is educational, high-quality, and perfectly age-appropriate.

We think of it less like a standard entertainment subscription, and more like an investment in a healthier, stress-free relationship with technology for your kid.

Yes. You can cancel anytime through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Your subscription will remain active through the end of your billing period. We don’t offer partial refunds at this time.

Yes - anyone can download the app and sign up. However, because our beta version is limited to 1,500 people, new families might be placed onto the waitlist if all the current spots are full.

Right now, our beta version is limited to 1,500 while we make sure everything runs smoothly. Don’t worry though - we’ll be opening up spots for more families soon! While we don’t have an exact date yet, we’ll let you know when a spot opens up.

ClockwiseTV is available only on tablets. To ensure the best experience on screen, the app is not yet supported on smartphones, TVs, or computers.

Great question! Verifying your email when you sign up does two important things:

• It ensures that a parent or guardian is creating the account, setting up the PIN, andmanaging safety boundaries.
• In line with COPPA safety rules, we require a parent’s verification before collecting any information. This keeps your family’s personal data safe and secure.

Once your email is verified, your family is all set to jump in and start exploring!

Think of the PIN as a quick safety lock, not a login. You don’t need it just to open the app, but it does pop up whenever a grown-up needs to check or change a rule.

Families will need a parent to enter the PIN to:

• Start a new session: This is when you and your kid choose your time limit together.
• Adjust the settings: Like changing app rules or creating a new kid profile.

It’s just a simple way to make sure parents stay in the driver's seat, while keeping the app safe, fun, and ready for your kid’s next viewing session!

The timer is a built-in tool that lets you and your kid decide together how much screen time they have to enjoy content from our trusted creators.

Here’s how it works:

• You pick the time: When your kid starts a session, you’ll set a time limit together.
• We’ll suggest videos: Based on the time you choose and your kid’s interests, the ClockwiseTV app will suggest videos (curated and reviewed by humans for quality, age- appropriateness, and educational value). This could be several shorter videos or longer ones, depending on the time available.
• An easy wrap-up: Once the timer hits zero, the session gently ends.
• Done for now or ready for more?: When the timer hits zero, it’s a great time to take a screen break or close the app. If you’re jumping into a new session for the same kid or a sibling, parents can just enter their PIN to set a fresh timer.
